Garnett guarantees championship
Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett may still be hobbled by a gimpy knee, but the star has big plans for the next two seasons.
Garnett has promised the team’s owner that the Celtics will win the NBA championship in both 2010 and 2011 after winning it last year.
The fiery star was the biggest addition to a Celtics team that previously had no prayer of winning a championship, and his leadership is considered one of his best assets.
His tenacity and leadership abilities were on display throughout this season and the team’s playoff run, as he supported and fired up his teammates as much as possible despite being sidelined with the knee injury.
