Celtics sign Finley
The Boston Celtics have signed forward Michael Finley to a contract after he was released by the San Antonio Spurs.
Finley expressed dissatisfaction with how little playing time he got with San Antonio, so they cut him loose.
I’m surprised the Celtics signed Finley, who just a few years ago was one of the best forwards in his division.
The team has not promised Finley anything in terms of playing time, but he seems fine with that.
The Celtics are hopeful he can play a role similar to the one played by P.J. Brown in past seasons.
